Beer tasting – a “flight” – at Faultline Brewery. Also, white fish ceviche and a taste of flat iron steak with chard and a potato-risotto cake. With AP and friends EM and B something. Most surprised by “Best Bitter.” Had to take 3 sips before admitting it was good. Was very harsh at first. Enjoyed Hefe Weizen quite a bit and loved learning about the filtration process and how carbonation has to be added to filtered beers in order to keep the bubbles. So interesting that I want to learn more, even if I have to get very, very drunk in order to do so. The stout was insane. It actually did taste like chocolate and coal. The ceviche had good flavors but needed more than fish.
